First Day Overview
Like anything new, you may feel a little uneasy your first day.
Have no fear, here are some tips to make sure your first day of WORK is a success.
Preparing for WORK
What to Wear:
We recommend light, moisture-wicking, fabrics. Tank-tops or tees on top and shorts or form-fitting pants on the bottom. Most importantly be comfortable!
*Note: Out of respect to fellow WORKers, and to ensure best hygiene practices, please always keep torso covered. Ladies no sports bras, and gentlemen no removing shirts in class.
What to Eat:
WORKouts are intense, and your body needs to be prepared. Whether an early bird or a night owl, it’s important your body has the energy it needs. Make sure you have a light snack 30 to 60 minutes before class.
What to Drink:
More important than fuel is hydration. Drink plenty of water before, during and after class. WORK has purified reverse-osmosis filling stations for your convenience. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, WORK does not sell disposable bottles or cups. Please bring a bottle with you.
Clocking-in for WORK
For your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early. This will give you time to change, fill up your water, meet the instructor, and get a quick tour of the studio.
We need to know you’re here! Initial next to your name on the sign in sheet at the front desk. If you’re not signed in 5 minutes before class begins, your class may be given away to someone on the waitlist.
There are inherent risks to any exercise program. By coming to WORK, you acknowledge that you and your primary medical professional have agreed exercise is safe for you. Still, you will be required to fill out a Waiver of Risk before participating.
If you’re registered for class, but know you’ll be late, please call the studio (949-756-8277) so that we can save your spot. Anyone arriving more than 5 minutes late to the start of class may not be permitted into the training room.
Each 55-minute group class is programmed by a team of certified and nationally accredited trainers. Class size is capped to ensure safe training practices, and to allow for personal instruction. To learn more about our specific training methods, click here.
Please let our staff and your instructor know about any injuries or limitations you may have, listen carefully to all instructions, and communicate if something is uncomfortable.
WORK has locker rooms with showers, towels, and toiletries for both men and women. If you don’t want to use a locker, large cubbies are also available in the lounge.
A big draw for many WORKers is the communal atmosphere welcoming their arrival. Our lounge features soft lighting to put you at ease and comfy sofas to help you relax before and after class.
Need that last-minute pick me-up or an easy post-workout snack? Grab a cold brew coffee, protein shake, or protein bar. Forgot a tank, socks, or even shoes? Pick up your WORK gear in our retail section.

BUYING & BOOKING
Begin by purchasing a class or classes on the “pricing” page, then use those credits to book your class.
Booking works on a sliding 7-day window. You can sign-up for any class up to 7 days in advance.
You may book online via the schedule page, or through our mobile app on your smart phone.
Didn’t get into class? Don’t stress, jump on the waitlist! You’ll be automatically added to class if a spot opens up more than 12 hours from the start of class. If less than 12 hours, we’ll call or text you for confirmation.
Can’t make it to class? We ask for 12 hours notice. Any cancellation less than 12 hours from the start of class will result in a loss of that class from your account (packages) or a $15 fee (unlimited memberships). You can cancel online or through the app.
Sharing is Caring
Have a “fit-friend” or “accountabili-buddy?” Share your sessions in a class package. Simply call the studio and ask us to link your accounts (memberships excluded). Note: We cannot, “transfer” unused sessions from one account to another.
